Our client, a publicly listed company, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst with a strong analytical background to support a number of key initiatives. This role will start out on a 6-month contract and has the potential extension.

Reporting directly to the Manager of Finance, your responsibilities will include :

• Prepare and reconcile month end, quarter end and year reports, in accordance with IFRS, including JEs, Intangibles, PPE, Prepaids, G& A, R& D, prepaids (LT and ST), accruals, service fee and other internal reports
• work with technical accounting to ensure alignment with existing policies
• Reconciliations and variance reporting
• Project reporting
• Assist with the SR& ED claim
• Assist with internal and external audit
• prepare complex journal entries and approve / post entries prepared by others.

Job Requirements :

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Senior Financial Analyst (CPA or equivalent), with at least 5 years of full cycle accounting experience. You are comfortable working in a very complex and structured environment.
