Adecco Professional is currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst job opening in Mississauga, ON. Our client is a global manufacturing firm who is looking to add to their team.

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking and driven Senior Financial Analyst with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, and someone looking to make a positive impact in the organization.

Some of the responsibilities for the Senior Financial Analyst job opening in Mississauga, ON., include but are not limited to :

Responsible for performing monthly / quarterly / annual financial reporting, management reports, financial results analysis and support all data presented with business insights, analysis and interpretations.

Support and collaborate with both management and the sales team.

Monitor and analyze monthly operating results and explain monthly / yearly variances; P&L reporting such as revenue and SG&A.

Manage preparation of financial outlooks and forecasts to facilitate decision making.

Sales reporting and analysis; report on business activity, KPIs, expenses, bonus’, GM analysis.

Perform GL reconciliations.

Support management with budgeting and forecasting, including cash flow, and analyze variances on a monthly basis.

Conduct and report on headcount, inventory and receivables.

Assist in year-end audits including preparation and review of working papers, financial statements and notes.

Identify opportunities for streamlining and rationalization of current accounting practices.

Implement proper controls to ensure that all financial as well as non-financial activities are properly accounted for.

Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and fund recoveries.

Participate in ad-hoc projects.

The qualifications for the Senior Financial Analyst job opening in Mississauga, ON includes :

At least 5 years’ experience in directly related capacity; preference given to those with experience from the manufacturing or distribution industry

Completed post-secondary degree in an accounting / finance / financial analyst or equivalent; CPA / CMA designation an asset

Advanced skills in MS Office and experience with SAP or other ERP systems

Excellent analytical and problem solving-skills; ability to delve in and understand the problem and come up with solutions at the ready

Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with clients; internal and external

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities

Strengths in working independently and also as a team member
