Asset Management and Implementation Specialist

Our client provides software solutions, consulting services, and implementation / support services to local government agencies for Enterprise Asset and Work Management Systems. They are hiring an Asset Management and Implementation Specialist to join the team in southern BC. Job Description : The Asset Management and Implementation Specialist will be integral in transforming municipal work and asset management processes by leveraging modern digital technologies, including advanced asset management platforms and geospatial data systems. Your expertise will guide municipalities through the implementation of digital solutions designed to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance asset management practices.As an Asset Management and Implementation Specialist, you will assess current processes and provide tailored recommendations for digital transformation. You will also play a key role in mounting and configuring geodatabases to ensure optimal integration of asset data for enhanced decision-making and reporting.Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with municipal staff through workshops and one-on-one sessions to evaluate existing work and asset management workflows.Provide expert recommendations for future processes, emphasizing the integration of digital tools, including geospatial data management and automated workflows.Support the integration and mounting of geodatabases to ensure seamless asset data management and alignment with the municipality’s existing GIS systems.Work closely with the implementation team, acting as the main point of contact between the client and technical staff Provide continued guidance to municipal clients on leveraging digital asset management tools and GIS technologies to enhance their work and asset management capabilities.Qualifications : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both non-technical and technical stakeholders.Extensive knowledge of municipal infrastructure assets, engineering and operations processes, with a focus on digital and geospatial technologies.Familiarity with relevant asset and work management regulations and standards. 2+ years of experience working with digital asset management platforms, with a focus on geospatial integration.Experience with mounting, configuring, and managing geodatabases, and familiarity with GIS tools such as ArcGIS.Proven ability to guide clients through the adoption of new digital technologies and workflows, ensuring alignment with their specific needs and objectives.Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and client needs.Strong client-facing skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and fostering long-term relationships.
