Job Title : Field Management

Location : Burnaby, B.C.

  • KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Lead, manage, monitor and coordinate activities as related to Field Management and Process improvements from development to functional implementation.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the project drawings and scope of work for windows and other products to complete the project.
  • Support construction phases of projects managing the work of internal and external resources.
  • Attendance at site trade meetings, safety meetings and design meetings will be required.
  • Monitor the job(s) status onsite for quality, scheduling, adherence to Architectural details including general performance criteria and completeness.
  • Create a Project Tracking List weekly for follow-up.
  • Coordinate the shipments to site with installers and contractors for offload times.
  • Advise in writing to the appropriate party (contractor / GC / install) of any potential delay in schedule.
  • Maintain daily communication with site personnel; Foreman, Superintendent, and Project Manager etc.
  • Review all installed floors, inspect for deficiencies, and close out projects at completion.
  • Ensures Health and Safety standards and regulatory requirements are met through the implementation of any / all new processes.
  • Other duties as required.
  • WHAT WE 'RE LOOKING FOR :

  • 5 years relevant experience in the industry.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment, with frequent exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise.
  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
  • Result orientated, Delegation, Problem Solving, Planning, Process Management.
  • Ability to maintain speed and accuracy against established targets.
  • Computer literacy, working knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills a must.
  • Health and Safety knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle.
