Job Duties Job Duties Must be able to perform in both French and English.
1. Works closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and other stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
2. Write, edit, and organize educational content, including multimedia elements such as videos, interactive activities and quizzes.
3. Develop engaging and effective online courses and learning materials.
4. Review and revise course materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
5. Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues to enhance the quality of educational content.
6. Stay updated on emerging trends in education, technology, and instructional design.
7. Develop learning objectives, assessments, and evaluation tools to measure learner outcomes.
8. Evaluate existing training curricula and related materials.
9. Maintains a supportive attitude toward work, instructors, and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE Specific Accountabilities Duties Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
- Master Degree in Educational Technology or Master Degree in Curriculum Development or a relevant combination of Education and experience – For the following position, they must be able to be performed in both the French and English language
- Two years experience in Educational Technology or Curriculum Development
- Proficiency in e-learning platforms and tools (e.g., Articulate), Learning Management Systems (e.g. Brightspace) and multimedia editing software. Knowledge of HTML, CSS3 and / or JavaScript is a plus
- Experience in storyboarding / blueprinting and scaffolding of educational course content
- Applies instructional design principles to develop engaging and effective learning materials, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and audience needs
- Advanced knowledge of video conferencing technology (ex. Zoom, Skype, Face Time, MS Teams, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate experiential and skill development training
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of copyright laws and regulations, ensuring all educational content complies with legal standards and respects intellectual property rights
- Experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in an iterative manner to develop, review, and revise course curriculum
- Experience with quality standards and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), promoting inclusivity and accessibility for diverse learners.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
