Marketers on Demand is looking to recruit an experienced HR Generalist for a great client of ours in Brampton! This role puts you in the driver's seat that ranges from HR policies, staffing and recruiting, employee resolutions, supporting senior management, handling special projects, procurement, and compliance.Key Responsibilities : Support employee relations issues for employees and recommend proactive measuresProvide support to managers on HR policies; coaching, performance management, performance improvement plans, compensation queries, etc.Conduct exit interviews; gather information and ensure exit procedures are followedDeliver and provide support for HR programs, activities, policies, procedures and compliance including : Employee Relations, Employee Onboarding, Leave of Absence coordination, Template and Documentation support, system inquiries and support, creation / maintenance of documentation internallySupport the team as needed with the day-to-day compliance of policies and queries related to legal cases and investigationsAssist in procurement processes related to HR needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and proceduresMonitor and ensure compliance with HR policies, employment standards, and regulatory requirementsKey Qualifications : - 3-5 years of HR experience in a corporate and manufacturing environment- Knowledge of employment standards and human rights legislation for Canada- Strong verbal and written communication skills- Proficient with MS Office- CHRP designation would be an assetPlease note, this is a hybrid position that requires you to be on-site three (3) days a week in Brampton, ON.Does this sound like you or someone you know in your professional network?
