Responsibilities :
Research and negotiation : Identify and evaluate the best suppliers of steel forged parts. Negotiate advantageous conditions to ensure profitable purchases.Supplier management : Establish and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers. Monitor their performance and quickly resolve any issues related to quality, delivery or pricing.Demand forecasting : Collaborate with production teams to anticipate needs and plan purchases accordingly.Quality Assurance : Ensure that all purchased parts meet specifications and quality standards. Work closely with the quality control team to resolve any potential issues.Cost Management : Analyze market trends to identify cost reduction opportunities. Implement effective strategies to optimize expenses while maintaining quality.Documentation and Reporting : Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities and savings achieved.Problem Solving : Manage daily issues between departments and with suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
