Role Description

We are looking for someone who is not afraid to take on challenges. Our next colleague must be capable of estimating projects of both small and large scale . Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering the final result to the client as a project manager or assisting the project manager.

Qualifications

  • Reading, analyzing, and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Estimating material costs and labor costs
  • Receiving, analyzing, and processing bids within the required deadlines
  • Engaging with current and potential suppliers and subcontractors
  • Ensuring clear communication regarding various costs and timelines
  • Conducting site visits as needed
  • Receiving suggestions and complaints from suppliers, subcontractors, and foremen regarding costs and timelines
  • Ensuring compliance with the rules and expectations of the Humaco Group
  • Collaborating with foremen and subcontractors on-site
  • Presenting and closing bids
  • Evaluating and presenting project risks and constraints to management
  • Assessing and planning work methods for the smooth execution of tasks
  • Producing and ensuring adherence to the project timeline
  • Participating in the management of awarded contracts
  • Managing costs and evaluating project profitability
  • Responding to technical inquiries from job sites
  • Participating in project meetings
  • Evaluating and negotiating necessary changes or additions to each contract
  • Preparing documentation for compensation requests and / or claims
  • Performing any related tasks

Profile Sought

  • Degree in estimation or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Significant experience in estimation (3 to 5 years)
  • Computer skills : Windows environment, MS Project, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel), Planswift
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Autonomy, resourcefulness, and a sense of priorities
  • Organizational skills and sense of responsibility
  • Problem-solving abilities and quick, informed decision-making
  • Adherence to deadlines, speed, and efficiency
  • Professionalism and discretion
  • Spoken language : Advanced English
