About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior IT business analyst with expertise in security, and reporting to join our cybersecurity team.
What you’ll do here :
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their security needs, challenges, and objectives, and translate them into actionable requirements for cybersecurity initiatives.
Partner with cybersecurity leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of security requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in security data, highlighting areas of risk and opportunities for improvement.
Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities to enhance security controls, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency.
Coordinate test activities and document results
Create and maintain changes on documentation (ex. user guides, policies, system and training) including the integration of new processes and technologies within the current operations.
Ensure solutions are effectively deployed with proper change management, communication, training & operationalization
Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on security reporting best practices, methodologies and standards, driving continuous improvement and innovation in reporting capabilities.
What you bring to the table :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on security reporting, data analysis, and visualization.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in delivering BI and Reporting / Dashboard solutions
Knowledge of data warehousing modeling as well as ETL and DataLake concepts.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
