Duties of the Resource(s) will include, but are not necessarily limited to :
Working with ministry personnel to assess and understand business project requirements and outcomes.Developing conceptual and logical design for business technology problemsWork as the Technical Lead on projects, holding vendor and government technical resources accountable for ensuring solution’s architectures comply with current standards and are in alignment with the direction of the GOS environment.Coordinating the review and approval of solution designs through the technical governance process.Overseeing the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions.Participating and contributing to the maturity of the architecture practice.Developing and maintaining technology standards and system roadmapsThe ideal Solution Architect will have extensive experience at a senior level with :
Working as a lead Solution Architect on a variety of and business technology projects.Implementing complex enterprise business technology solutions.Modern agile and waterfall project management methodologies.Modern business and data analysis practices.Understanding government procurement documentation and processes.Technology governance frameworks and standards.Facilitation with Ministry partners and third-party vendors.
