PROGRAMMING - UNREAL ENGINE

What We Do

Unreal-powered projects have been on the bleeding edge of real-time entertainment for over 20 years. Our team of programming experts are always innovating to improve the tools and technology that empower content developers worldwide.

What You'll Do

In this role you will be responsible for developing engine features to unlock the capabilities of Unreal Engine in the car, and you will play a significant role in determining the future of in-car entertainment.

You will be part of our HMI team, and work hand in hand with Epic's engine developers and platform programmers.

In this role, you will

  • Develop, deploy, debug, and maintain features of Unreal Engine and other technologies that help deliver great real-time HMI experiences
  • Collaborate with the Platform Team and Programmers to implement HMI-specific features and support the rollout to stakeholders
  • Develop bleeding-edge products that raise the bar and leverage the broad Epic Games and FN ecosystems.
  • Work with the best OEMs in the industry to fuel innovation utilizing the power of Unreal Engine

What we're looking for

  • Excellent C++ skills and software programming principles
  • Scripting experience with Python, Blueprints or a similar language
  • Knowledge and experience working with Android OS, Linux experience is a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Extensive expertise in optimizing Unreal Engine or other large software systems for optimal performance across various platforms
  • You're user-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale.

Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience.

In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

British Columbia Base Pay Range

$188,645-$276,680 CAD
