Position : Human Resources Coordinator (Health And Safety)
Location : Timmins, ON area
Duration : Full-time / permanent role
Position Overview :
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources and / or equivalent work experience
- Relevant experience in managing Health & Safety programs & initiatives
- 2-3 years' relevant experience in Human Resources
- CHRP designation, or working towards, is considered an asset
- Develop, implement & maintain the company health & safety management system in compliance with the company's H&S protocol
- Ensure health & safety compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Conduct Incident / Accident Investigations on any workplace incidents & implement corrective action
- Maintain documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents & related events
- Act as the point of contact for all Human Resources related inquires
- Work with managers weekly to ensure employee hours submitted to payroll are accurate & in accordance with the company, association & government policies
- Handling personnel transactions : onboarding new employees, processing layoffs / terminations, time & attendance tracking (vacation, personal, sick days etc.)
- Benefit administration (group health & dental, salary continuance & long term disability)
- Maintain employee information in the HRIS.
