Position Summary
As an ETL Developer, you will be well-versed in Data preparation, Data Migration and ETL processes. You will apply business analysis and technical skills to migrate enterprise content by extracting information from data sources, transforming format and loading documents and data to the new systems.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field or recognized equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Extract Transform and Load (ETL) development.
- Experience in data migration / conversion processes from legacy systems to a new vendor-based solution.
- Ability to focus on timely delivery, troubleshooting technical challenges and enabling data migration.
- Experience in data cleansing, migrating, validating, and auditing processes.
- Hands-on experience in complex SQL query writing and data analysis.
- Good understanding of ETL, Reporting, and Data Warehouse concepts.
- Experience working in a PL / SQL and Oracle environment.
- Experience with ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS or similar.
- Ability to develop data profiling, quality and cleansing requirements.
- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support.
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Passion for knowledge sharing, process documentation, and data governance.
- Collaboratively engage with relevant business stakeholders / SMEs.
- Experience in creating automated solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data security best practices.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills, demonstrated by the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentations.
- Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
