Lead Counselor - Camp Joyful Soles

Camp Joyful Soles gives participants with special needs and between the ages of 13 and 22 an enriching, engaging opportunity for them to play, learn, have special experiences, and connect with others. It's a success year after year largely because of the caring CJS team that works closely with every camper and each other.

And the City is looking for a Lead Counselor to be an important part of that success. This individual will observe and aid staff members, coordinate daily activities, and lead a specific group of campers while providing extra support as needed.

The camp includes arts and crafts; games, music, art and drama therapy, and visits from special guests. It takes place from June through the end of July with a week-off around Independence Day at Mill Springs Academy.
