Electronics Technicians - Production (Night - Contract)

Kontron Canada is looking for Electronics Technicians - Production for a 7 month contract, at night, with the possibility of becoming permanent. To get a taste of the work environment at Kontron Canada, watch the following video in French : https : / / youtu.be / YQQIQ_8R_yo AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD : You will debug electronic boards after assembly or following a first test that has failed;You will analyse and diagnose defects on tested electronic boards by using the appropriate tools (oscilloscope, ICE, JTAG, X-RAY) and by consulting the Process and Manufacturing Engineering experts, when required;You will document defects according to internal processes;You will have defective components changed or repaired after analysis by board repair personnel;You will program or re-program bios and other embedded software, if needed;You will build prototype systems;All other related tasks. YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE : Education : Cegep diploma in electronics or pertinent experience;Experience : Ideally a minimum of 2 years in a similar position;Knowledge : Electronics, programming and various methods and instruments used for circuit board debug (oscilloscopes, specialized tools and software), DOS, Windows and Linux;Profile : Autonomous, organized, responsible and fast learner;Assets :  Knowledge of PC architecture (ISA, PCI, CPCI), Boundary Scan / JTAG;Languages : French (verbal and written), written English, verbal English an asset.
