Job descriptionTo be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills / qualifications; CPA with deep Hedge Accounting experience [IAS 39 & / or IFRS 9] Ability to both lead / influence and be a hands on doer Ability to go into the office minimum 3 days per week
Our client is an International powerhouse in the Financial Services and Asset Management Industry looking to hire a Hedge Accounting Consultant for an initial term of 6 months. It is very likely for this to extend longer.
- Note this is a hybrid role in office minimum three days per week
As the Hedge Accounting Consultant you will liaise between technical accounting subject matter experts re IAS 39 [IFRS 9] and the operational accounting team as they set up the accounting in the General Ledger / etc.. You will work with the business to understand the accounting and reporting implications of new 'strategies'.
