Education : Bachelor's degree.

Experience : 5 years or more.

Location : Abbotsford, BC

Salary : $80,000 to $115,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment : Permanent employment, Full-time, Day

Work Conditions : On-site; work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assure community participation in programs for a school district.
• Direct, through school principals, the academic affairs of a school district.
• Evaluate teachers and support staff.
• Evaluate teaching methods and quality of instructions.
• Oversee the activities of teachers and support staff.
• Revise programs based on academic performance level.
• Recruit and hire teachers and other staff.
• Develop and administer programs for the education and training of students and adults.
• Direct or supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation, and promotion of teachers.
• Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum.
• Co-ordinate teaching activities.
• Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards.

Supervision

Supervise 16-20 people.

Credentials

Certificates, Licences, Memberships : Provincial teacher's certificate.
