Int. ServiceNow Mapping Specialist to map the core principles of Configuration Management and how it relates to Incident Management within the ITIL framework - RQ
Duration : 5 months to start (high possibility of extension)
Location : Toronto Hybrid 2x per week on-site
Hours : 7.25 / day
Candidates for this role should have at least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management and using ServiceNow. They should also have a broad knowledge of multiple technology domains, including network, infrastructure, and application architecture, as well as a good understanding of ITIL processes, and the part Configuration Management plays in service delivery.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of a broad range of technologies and how they work together to deliver services to fulfil a business requirement.
They will be able to explain the core principles of Configuration Management, and how it relates to Incident and Change Management within the ITIL framework.
Must have skills :
- 5 years' experience in Configuration Management and using ServiceNow
- 5 years' experience ServiceNow CMDB data model (CSDM)
- 5 years' experience ServiceNow ITOM discovery & Service Mapping
- 5 years' experience ServiceNow discovery pattern development
- 5 years' experience Scripting / programming in Java Script
- 5 years' experience with business application architecture
Nice to Have Skills :
- Java Regular Expression
- Familiarity with Infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux), Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and Network architecture (switches, routers, firewalls, OSI network model)
- Ability to discuss credentials issues and troubleshoot with engineers.
- High availability application & infrastructure architecture
- Container computing (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud architecture (Azure)
