With Corporate headquarters based in Mississauga, TDG specializes in LED innovations, continually introducing new technology to provide our customers the best in the market.TDG Transit Design Group is seeking an organized individual with strong attention to detail to design intricate embedded hardware PCBs. Qualified candidates will have 3 + years of electronic design experience.General DutiesDesign of Electronic circuitsValidate design concept with simulation softwareCapture schematicLayout PCB assemblyBuild prototype PCBs using PCB milling / routing equipment to validate hardwareAnalyze and troubleshoot analog circuitsWrite software programs for microcontrollersManage, troubleshoot EMI qualification testsMaintain documentation pertaining to PCBs and softwareInternational travel to various TDG and customer sites may be requiredRequired ExperienceIndustry experience in electronic design and engineeringProficiency with computer aided design software (Altium preferred)Proficiency with spice simulation softwareSMPS designExcellent understanding of PCB layout techniquesDesign experience with microcontrollersExcellent communications skills. Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences3+ years of relevant experience.Desired ExperienceProficiency with Altium DesignerProficiency with SolidworksLED circuit design experienceEthernet hardware experienceFamiliarity with Ethernet protocolsEducationUniversity degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent post-secondary educationRegistered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario and member in good standing or eligible to register as a member of PEO;
