Job description

Our client is looking for an Operations Manager - Framing. The Operations Manager, Framing is responsible for driving the development, optimization, and growth of framing installation and quality control processes in collaboration with homebuilder accounts.

This role manages operational efficiency, builds partnerships with contractors, and ensures high-quality standards in the installation of framing packages that adhere to customer requirements.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, this individual will play a key role in business development efforts for the strategic growth area of framing and installation services.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders, including framing contractors and home builders.

Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence and secure new projects.

Negotiate contracts and partnerships to support company growth.

Operational Oversight

Collaborate with field teams to optimize workflows.

Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery of framing materials.

Work with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality and installation standards.

Quality Control

Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols for framing installations.

Oversee site inspections and audits to identify and address issues.

Provide feedback and recommendations to improve framing standards.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Track and analyze key performance metrics related to installation and quality.

Prepare and present reports on project progress, challenges, and opportunities to improve operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, framing, or home building roles.
  • Strong knowledge of residential framing practices is an asset.
  • Proven experience in business development and client relationship management.
  • Existing relationships with contractors, trades, and home builders.
  • Post-secondary education or relevant training.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools, including Google software suite and ERP systems.
  • Valid driver’s license.
