Job description

Role : SAP FICO LEAD

Location : Toronto, ON

Duration : Fulltime

Required Skills :

5+ years of related finance experience. Fixed assets specific experience is preferred.
Experience in S / 4HANA Finance (FICO), SAP GL, SAP Fixed Assets and SAP EFDW is required.
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in building queries from SAP composite provider is an asset.
Procurement and Accounts payable experience including knowledge of the Ariba system is an asset.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess and investigate financial information independently / with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and Business Partners across the organization.
Clear and concise written and oral communication

Role and Responsibilities :

Monitor fixed asset acquisition transactions in SAP fixed asset system to ensure that they are aligning with corporate capitalization standards.

Support Ariba integration with SAP fixed assets that includes creating asset IDs, asset transactions, maintaining documentation, and adhering to corporate capitalization standards.

Create SAP S / 4HANA and EFDW (Electronic File Data Warehouse) control reports to support post Ariba integration.

Interact with business partners across the organization to ensure that purchase order has correct lines and Asset IDs.

Support Fixed Asset and Accounts payable accounting, reconciliation, and financial reporting activities.

Work with the IT support teams for BAT testing and resolving issues.
