they are seeking a Service Manager for their Burlington location.

Job Type : Full-time

Location : South Service road- Burlington

Shift : The hours of this position are  Mondays – Fridays, 7 : am – 4 : pm.

Pay : per hour

Summary

As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for greeting customers upon arrival at the Service Department and identifying and scheduling their vehicle service needs. The Service Advisor will also handle customer concerns regarding vehicle repairs and assist sales personnel with technical information.

What we’re looking for :

  • A Technical Aptitude and / or experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, Automotive or Construction industry an asset.
  • Must be a team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer.
  • Must be self-motivated and have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and applications.
  • Valid G license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

What you’ll do :

  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain all vehicle and customer information required for proper repairs, contacting customer and invoicing.
  • Ensure all documentation on repair orders (RO’s) is complete with correct operation-repair types, serial numbers, mileage, signatures, etc.
  • Understand, communicate, and evaluate all vendors and International Warranty guidelines, approval processes and policies during the write up and repair process.
  • Link up EZ-Tech on all vehicles, check for fault / trouble codes, and advise customer of what is found.
  • Review service history of vehicle, reviewing repeat complaints and / or possible warranties.
  • Schedule service appointment requests and establish "promised time" checks with Technician and Team Lead.
  • Investigate progress of vehicle repairs and contact customer with status changes / promised time.
  • Explain completed work and charges to the customer and reach out to customer when vehicle is ready for pick up.
  • Order parts for scheduled appointments, as required.
  • Leave detailed notes for next shift to advise current situations with customer vehicles and promises made that the next shift must follow up with.
  • Keep service Department forms, menus, and pricing guides up to date.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
