Job description

What you’ll do

  • Improve store operations by providing training on Fast Find 4
  • Collaborate with ABSM and SSM on growth opportunities.
  • Improve adoption of key tools and processes such as ESL, Scan and Buy, Fast Find 1-2-3, Intelligent zone picking, Deal Planning tool and more.
  • Enhance store standards by leveraging the Operational Readiness Report ( ORR ) to provide feedback in order to promote continuous improvements.
  • Develop an intimate understanding of the constant changing national / regional and local competitive marketplace.
  • Participate and present relevant material to GM meetings.

What you bring

  • University or College degree an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Canadian Tire retail experience
  • Possess strong understanding of Canadian Tire store operations including logistics, retail merchandising, automotive service and horticulture
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for retail and a desire to work with a variety of entrepreneurial Dealers and store staff all driving with a common goal to serve the customer
  • Ability to coach and train individuals and groups
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal and an active listener.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a readiness to continually look for ways to improve productivity
