Job description

Ocean Park Mechanical (OPM) is one of the premier design-build mechanical contractors of Western USA and Western Canada, with operations in Washington, Oregon, California, and British Columbia.

By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, 3D-design, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE-STOP” shop for any project.

What We Offer : Competitive Base Salary : $50,000 to $65,000 depending on experience Employer Paid Benefits Package (Ext Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, LTD, Life, EAP, Critical Illness) $500 Annually to put towards either a Health Spending Account (additional costs for dental, physio, etc.), Personal Spending Account (items such as gym membership fitness classes or equipment, etc.) Employer RRSP Matching Paid Vacation & Holidays Great Company Culture Team building events (Golf Tournament, Football Games, Hockey Games, Christmas Party, etc.) Purpose of Position : The Service Coordinator provides support to service personnel by coordinating service requests and all necessary documentation required including quotes, work orders, purchase orders, timecards and tracking.

They secure equipment and coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors.

Reporting Structure : The Service Coordinator reports directly to the Service Operations Manager Primary Responsibilities : Receive and coordinate service requests Prepare quotes based on technician problem reports Create work orders, purchase orders, and secure equipment when job has been approved, track materials until ready for pick up Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and vendors Update filters list, order monthly filters, and receive filter invoices Coordinate sub-trades and deliveries with dispatch Reconcile invoices Follow up with unapproved quotes Track correspondence with suppliers and customers and provide follow up with Create new service contract proposals, contracts, and invoicing of contract Timecard entry for Service & Retrofit employees Experience, Education & Qualifications : 2-3 years of previous experience in a service department or similar environment Certificate or diploma in business or a related field is considered an asset Proficient with MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) Skills & Proficiencies : High attention to detail and accuracy Must be able to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced environment Thoughtful and confident decision-making skills with high ethical standards Good verbal and written communication skills Good interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment OPM is an equal opportunity employer.
