Job description

Job Description Job Title : REQ21522 - Business Analyst Level 3 Business Days : 260 days

  • Closing Date / Time : February 18th, 2025, 10 : 30 AM EST Office Location : In Fredericton, Remote Contract Duration : Asap until 20-Feb-2026 end date (Possibility for extension and conversion to FT) Standard Hours per day : 7.25 hours work day

Note : The successful candidate will have the option of working remotely (within Canada) for the duration of the engagement. If the successful candidate would prefer to work onsite in Fredericton, NB, SNB will provide office space and resources at HSBC Place, for the duration of the engagement. Regardless of location the standard hours of work will be Mon - Fri 8 : 15 - 4 : 30 AST.

Deliverables The successful candidate must deliver the following in order to successfully complete the engagement :

  • Facilitation of workshops and information gathering sessions including the creation of supporting materials such as presentations, agendas, meeting minutes, etc;
  • Documentation of as is and to be business processes and standard operating procedures using such tools as business process modelling notation (BPMN)
  • Documentation of functional and non-functional business requirements, gap analysis, and user stories / use cases as it relates to new or changing program needs
  • Translate business requirements into User Stories and manage them using Jira (or similar tool).
  • Documentation to support training activities including reference guides and tools
  • Document operational framework to support operational program delivery.

    • Requirement Detail / Qualifications

    General Duties :

  • Support the software development team.
  • Work with both client and development team members to elicit requirements, write user stories, define goals, document requirements, and analyze business functions to become familiar with the business domain.
  • Identify business work flows and determine stakeholder needs.
  • Author test case specifications, requirements traceability documentation, and contribute to the compilation and execution of test plans.
  • Support and contribute to the Agile practices adopted by the development team.
