Position Information

Location New Westminster / Coquitlam Campus Salary Range

29.53 per hour (with wage increments to a max of $32.97 per hour). Salary and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.

WHAT IT TAKES

  • A minimum of two years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience with and knowledge of Continuing Education health & fitness and youth related programming.
  • Supervisory skills with the ability to hire, train and ensure employees follow procedures and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of course budgeting systems in Continuing Education and accounting and budgeting procedures (i.e. FAST , PeopleAdmin, etc.)
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Banner including the ability to build and activate courses.

    Additional Information

  • This full-time, temporary (35 hours per week) position is available starting February 18, 2025 to August 15, 2025.
  • Hours of work will typically be scheduled between Monday to Friday, between 8 : 00 am and 10 : 00 pm. Shift days and times may change depending on the Department's need. Evening and / or weekend work will be required.
  • The position is located at the New Westminster campus; however, successful candidate must be available for work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations.
