Body Shop Trainee

Description :

The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the shop. Responsibilities involve steps such as the removal of dirt from the surface and parts due for painting. Additional tasks include polishing, retouching, buffing, degreasing, or otherwise cleaning the surface. May also mix color, blend paint, and load paint into spray-painting equipment. Successful candidate will collaborate with the paint team to ensure proper color matching and automotive paint application techniques for car painting; Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines; Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and best practices related to auto body repair and painting.

Qualifications :

• No prior experience necessary. High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a vehicle. Customer service experience preferred. Basic knowledge of inventory management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
