A career at National Bank means having a direct impact on clients. As a Mortgage Development Manager, you’ll help Personal Banking clients with an important life project : buying a home. You’ll interact with both internal National Bank partners and external partners in the real estate industry to develop your client base and identify residential financing strategies that fit their needs.
Your market is the Dollard des Ormeaux area.Your jobHelp clients develop residential financing strategies for purchase, mortgage pre-approval and external refinancing transactions
Identify clients' financial needs and refer them to your expert colleagues for their specialized needs
Establish and maintain a lasting relationship with external real estate partners (e.g., realtors and builders) by keeping them up to date on the solutions we offer
Communicate and work closely with internal partners to take charge of or refer clients and increase client retention
Organize and / or participate in business development activities and events
Rigorously apply the established processes and procedures and ensure compliance and risk management rules in effect are followed
Continuously develop and update your knowledge of National Bank mortgage solutions and changes in the mortgage market
Your teamYou’ll report to a Residential Financing Manager and work on a specialized team. You’ll work with internal and external partners to develop your client base and meet their financial needs.PrerequisitesBachelor’s degree in a related field and 1 year of relevant experience or college diploma and 3 years of relevant experience
Business development experience
Ability to work with business development objectives and a 100% commission-based salary
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage different stakeholders (both internal and external)
Knowledge of mortgage credit solutions and financing products
