Position Summary : The Restaurant Manager is responsible for managing the dining room and bar along with the Assistant Restaurant Manager, the Bar Supervisor and Shift Leaders. They will continuously enforce training and service standards to ensure professionalism, along with the highest level of guest satisfaction. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the recruitment, training, performance management and motivation of all front of house Food & Beverage outlet team members. They are ‘hands on’ and guest centric. They are accountable for the day-to-day operational success of the restaurant and bar including achieving revenue and labour goals. What will you be doing? Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following : Attend monthly meetings and retreats, leads weekly Supervisor meetings Act as the communicator with all departments throughout Eldorado Resort Hiring, training, scheduling, and team member performance appraisals Be proficient in all restaurant outlet positions, always leading by example Maintain liquor and beer / wine inventories, to a pre-determined seasonally adjusted level Inspire the team by creating incentives to drive revenue sales and reward our top performers Encourage highest quality guest service standards; constantly striving to “WOW” guests Be timely when handling guest issues Ensure all policies and procedures and training objectives are being adhered to; act as a role model and provide positive reinforcement Be proactive with all team member requests, concerns and issues Be financially responsible Constantly work on initiatives to drive revenue and create unforgettable guest experiences Promote a “YES” culture Ensure each team member is performing to the best of their ability – provides proper coaching and deliver performance management when required Assist with ideation and marketing initiatives for the restaurant Control all restaurant expenses to meet annual budget as set by the Director of Food & Beverage What are we looking for?
