Attention hands on Automotive and Assembly Technicians out there looking for a long term career opportunity!

We have a client who is a self entrepreneur looking for the next addition to the family in their technician and assembly area.

Are you someone who always enjoyed building, creating and have excellent technical skills?

Are you familiar with technical terms?

Do you know the difference of multiple hand / power / precision tools and know well how to work with manual machines?

Are you an automotive passionate and would like to build you career for an organization who works closely with vehicles?

Do you leave close to the Markham area and are available to join immidately?

3-5+ years of experience in a position that requires you to have hands on experience is necessary for the client to be considered.

  • You must be elegible to work full time on a long term permanent opportunity to being considered

Location : Markham area (Steels Ave E & Victoria Park Ave)

Pay rate : $22-$27 / hr

Shifts Required to work :

Day Shift (Monday to Thursday, (8 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm) - 10 hour shift

Day Shift (Monday to Friday, (10 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm) - 8 hour shift

You will be an integral part of our production team, responsible for operating advanced machinery, performing quality checks, and ensuring the timely and accurate completion of production tasks. This position requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and adherence to safety standards.   • Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, diagnose and package automotive wiring assemblies and harnesses
  • Assemble, test, diagnose and package fuel pump assemblies
  • Assemble, test, diagnose and package automotive pluming components
  • Test, diagnose and package automotive fuel injectors, sensors
  • Perform repairs and modifications to product
  • Obtain and organize build parts / supplies based on work orders
  • Configure and maintain work area for specified build / job requirements
  • Program, operate and maintain automatic cutting, stripping, test and crimping equipment
  • Maintain and complete job / build paperwork as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized and secure work environment
  • Coordinate with supervisor and other employees to maintain workflow
  • Qualifications

  • 3-5 years with direct assembly experience, preferably in automotive or electronics
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Advanced technical aptitude
  • Familiarity with a wide range of technical terms and concepts
  • Excellent hand / eye coordination, ability to handle small objects and color distinction, good vision
  • Advanced knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts
  • Excellent reading, writing and arithmetic skills (in English)
  • Advanced experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Highly proficient with hand and power tools
  • Ability to understand and follow build sheets, technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient operation of Windows based computer systems and peripherals
  • Capable of lifting and moving equipment or merchandise 50lbs or more
