What we would like to see : _

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role processing payroll for 300+ employees
  • PCP designation or working towards / willing to achieve a designation
  • Understand BC Employment Labour Standards
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other computerized payroll programs is an asset
  • Able to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and procedures
  • Well-developed MS Office skills and experience (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, and Excel)
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to accurately work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Responsibilities include :

  • Verify accuracy of all payroll-related data for hourly, salaried, and commissioned employees
  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls
  • Process employee’s sick days, vacation days, etc.
  • Administer benefit program
  • Calculate and submit ROE’s on the Web
  • Perform monthly and year-end payroll-related tasks including reconciliations
  • Other various administrative tasks
