Opta Information Intelligence is proudly Canadian. We are Canada’s largest aggregator of property risk information and leading provider of property intelligence and innovative technology solutions for insurance and corporate industries.

Opta Information Intelligence helps its clients access, understand, and synthesize previously inaccessible information.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Focus will be in the insurance market (P&C) for both analytics and inspection services.
  • Focus on onboarding, training for new users including demos for customers & new employees.
  • Build relationships within accounts and gather information to help sell solutions based on goals and challenges.
  • Attend conferences, work in the booth and network.
  • Attend and lead meetings where appropriate.
  • Demo products and gather feedback for product team.
  • Act as the liaison between client and internal teams to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Refine onboarding procedures / processes to accelerate the contract-go live period
  • Support note taking and project communication with clients through the implementation process
  • Work with the data / analytics team on proof of concepts to support the sales cycle
  • In liaison with marketing work to develop customer specific training material where needed
  • Support the transition of new users to client care and act as an escalation point post onboarding and launch

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required :

  • Completion a post-secondary education or possess a combination of education and industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of previous work experience in a sales or account management role.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry is required.

  • Previously demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • A positive attitude with a strong focus on client service; willingness to seek, build and maintain relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying and implementing solutions
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced and demanding environment
  • Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
