Description :

The City of Pointe-Claire is seeking individuals to fill blue collar positions as janitors. The person will have the opportunity to replace his / her colleagues on different shifts. Flexible schedule of 36 hours per week.

General responsibilities and goals :

Duties involving a variety of manual tasks related mainly to cleaning maintaining inside buildings.

Job requirements :

The person must hold a high school diploma and have a few years of relevant experience. The person must also hold a valid class 5 driver’s licence.

Good knowledge of the following :

• Spoken French and English, and written French.
• Products used in building maintenance.
• Maintenance and cleaning methods.
• Practices used in maintaining public buildings.
• How to drive the motorized vehicle involved; its capacity and limits

Schedule :

Must be available for day, evening, night, weekday or weekend shifts.

3 or 4-day schedule for a total of 36 hours per week.
