Job description

Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency located in Montreal.

Profile : Our client is a non-profit organization that serves youth of the English-speaking community. We are looking for a Program Director who will manage a team, manage programs for the youth, provide mentorship to their team of educators and interact with outside partners. This role requires someone with experience dealing with youth, different government agencies like youth protection and management experience.

Workplace : Montreal (office presence 5 days / week)

Salary : $81,224-$89,284 and is determined by the number of years of experience

Commissions / Bonus : N / A

Functions :

  • Develop and manage program budgets
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff and volunteers
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with participants, families, and partners
  • Track and evaluate program success
  • Collaborate with Primary Educators and Social Workers
  • Provide clients with academic support
  • Respect the timeline for employee probationary period, reviews and regular supervision
  • o Collaborate with Human Resource to evaluate hiring needs and to participate in the hiring process.
  • Oversee the schedule
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Oversee the use of petty cash, allowance, activities, and other expenses are recorded and submitted to the accounting office
  • Requirements :

    Languages : Excellent written and spoken English with some French

    Education : Bachelor's degree in social work, human relations or any related social services field

    Training : On the job training provided but am looking for someone experienced in this field.

    Overnight Travel : No overnight travel required

    Years of experience : At least 3years of leadership / management experience needed
