The Role The FP&A Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) is responsible for analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, and providing strategic insights to drive business decisions. This role will work closely with the executive team to provide key financial insights for decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial performance, optimize processes, and support key business initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning and Analysis Assist in the development, implementation, and management of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Prepare budgets and forecasts, variance analyses, long-term planning, risk / opportunity assessments, and periodic / ad hoc reporting. Support the accounting team with close processes, P&L analysis, and working capital reviews. Monitor and analyze cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital. Improve data accuracy and reporting processes using financial systems and tools. Partner with operations, commercial, and asset optimization teams to evaluate financial performance, refine revenue forecasts, assess market dynamics, and provide data to support bidding strategies. Financial Modeling and Corporate Valuation Create and maintain financial models, including corporate valuation models, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments. Prepare reports to support decision-making for revenue growth, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives. Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of key business decisions and external market factors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand key business drivers and align financial strategies accordingly. Board and Management Reporting Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior leadership. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management and the board of directors. Provide variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, identifying key trends and business drivers. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. CPA, CFA, MBA or an equivalent professional designation preferred. 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business analytics, or a related role. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning tools.
