Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders. This role is essential in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop project plans and schematics.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare detailed construction estimates and manage project budgets effectively.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to ensure alignment on goals and expectations.
  • Review blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation on-site.
  • Implement time management strategies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (ProCore, Bluebeam) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D software is a plus.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on time management.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
