Nanny Wanted - Family Looking For A Full Time Caregiver To Assist With Our Disabled Son

We are a family with 3 kids aged 16, 20, and 24 (away at college) living in beautiful Topsail, CBS. We are looking for an experienced caregiver to help with our 20-year-old son who has Prader Willi Syndrome and is paralyzed from the chest down and is mobile in a wheelchair. We are looking for a caregiver to primarily look after his needs including but not limited to : - awaken and get him out of bed in the am & to bed in pm- dress & hygiene- prepare meals and oversee consumption- feed and administer medications- shower (2-3 times per week)- catheterizing required every 4 hrs- bowel program 3 x per week - engage in daily structured play interacting with enthusiasm and kindness- light housework (laundry, make beds, meal preparation, dish washing, vacuum / tidy up)We have ceiling lift, auto shower chair, etc to assist with his care. He is a very engaging and mostly a happy boy and responds very positively to love, attention and music and is our light that shines brightly. The caregiver will be expected to do some home-based exercises with him (i.e. seated Zumba, stretches, etc), to read to him, do school type work (coloring, puzzles, etc) and be a loving, patient and engaging companion. Hours during school year are weekdays from 2pm - 9pm but subject to change as school hours change. Summer will be more 9am - 5pm. Extra hours available in evening or weekends. Own vehicle is an asset but not required. Patience, kindness, good work ethic and energy are a requirement.Live in or Live out Canadian citizens or applicants holding a valid work permit within Canada only please.
