Reporting to our Executive Vice-President of Marketing, the successful candidate can take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how marketing campaigns work with retail products within pharmaceutical, cosmetics and cannabis industries. Duties & Responsibilities
- Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
- Graphics production
- Applying creative thinking and design skills to a variety of print and digital media, including marketing
- and promotional materials such as conference booth graphics, brochures, flyers / pamphlets, etc.
- Edit videos to create content for use on digital and social channels such as reels, boomerangs, GIFs, loop videos
- Managing own workflow processes and design execution, and ensuring quality control of creative work
- Able to work on creating point of sale (POS) and product packaging designs including labels, 3D renderings, etc.
- Develop disparate elements of a design such as the icons, photographs and other components for the
- overall brand imagery
- Preparing creative material for production and coordinating with external third parties for production
- when applicable
- Creating package design concepts, materials and production following strict regulatory guidelines
- Providing design support effectively and efficiently within the global Marketing Team
Required Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design related discipline (Masters Degree preferable)3+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agencyExperience with packaging designExperience with graphics production including digital and printExtensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, etc.) specificallywith mock-ups, images for print and social media, web design, packaging design and multimedia presentationHigh proficiency in web developmentAdaptive design eye and skill, creative flexibilityHigh proficiency in production designExperience with animationDeep understanding of typography, illustration, photography and cultureExcellent time management and organization skills, able to work under tight timelines in a high-pressureenvironmentStrong attention to detail and able to critically analyze own workAbility to absorb and apply constructive criticism from internal and external stakeholdersWhat You’ll Need to Have
