Job description

Our solution, Practice Care by DoctorCare, helps doctors optimize the performance of their medical practice by providing actionable insights and automated billing, alleviating the need to understand complex patient enrolment and funding models so doctors can maximize their revenue potential every month. In adjunct to Practice Care, DoctorCare offers management and consulting services to groups of physicians under the FHO patient enrolment model.

DoctorCare is looking for a Manager, Physician Group Initiatives, to join its industry leading Client Success team and help provide exceptional guidance and support, as well as positive experiences for our growing customer base.

DoctorCare is disrupting how billing services are delivered to doctors across Canada. Our solutions streamline operations, easing administrative burdens and enabling doctors to focus on what really matters : cutting wait times and improving the delivery of care and the patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build durable relationships with physician groups

  • Identify key contacts, and gain deep understanding of their specific needs and internal dynamics
  • Maintain a close eye on your groups’ overall health using KPIs and client feedback
  • Become your clients’ go-to subject matter expert on patient enrolment and funding for family physicians in Ontario

Support the day-to-day delivery of Practice Care Group Management consulting services

  • Coach physicians on how they can improve their group and individual practices
  • Develop, provide guidance on, and amend Governance Agreements
  • Develop agendas, prepare presentations, facilitate discussions, and document minutes for physician group meetings
  • Evaluate the need for, and build out custom reporting where appropriate
  • Liaise with the Ministry of Health to support various administrative needs
  • Stay up to date on new government policy and help groups navigate and understand the impacts
  • Work closely with other teams to improve the overall client experience

  • Provide a fantastic onboarding flow to new clients alongside Sales
  • Delegate administrative work and provide quality assurance
  • Help DoctorCare continue to innovate our service offering
  • Assist with Product and Marketing efforts that will impact your clients
  • Collect client feedback and advocate for solutions that support their unique needs
  • Look for ways to streamline our service delivery by always thinking “Is there a better way?”
  • This hybrid opportunity requires the flexibility to attend in-office meetings in Toronto regularly.

    Who you are

    You have already worked for several years in Client Success or similar client-facing roles. You are comfortable owning a book of business and being measured on retention. You are good at building rapport; your clients trust you to be competent and professional. You are highly organized and prioritize your tasks based on impact.

    You love using technology and automation to help improve workflows and outcomes. You ask how and why work is done, so that you can improve upon process. You want to support doctors' offices by providing solutions and services that enable them to focus on patient care.

    You like to learn and are curious. You jump headfirst into complex problems and adapt your approach depending on the scenario. Once an expert on a subject, you excel at teaching others. In this role, you will have direct, meaningful coaching from industry experts to improve your skills and plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself in a dynamic work environment.

    Requirements

  • You have several years of experience in client success or similar client-facing roles
  • You are an excellent communicator, regardless of the medium
  • You are eager to learn, curious, and resourceful
  • You quickly pickup new technologies
  • You have strong attention to detail with a keen eye for process improvement
  • You are guided by integrity and introspection, always looking for ways to improve your approach and work
  • Assets

  • You have experience with project management
  • You have experience with the following tech stack : Salesforce or other CRM, Microsoft Suite (Teams, Excel, OneDrive etc.), EMRs (Oscar, Accuro, PS Suite etc.), Jira & Confluence
  • You have knowledge of Ontario's health system, particularly Family Physician patient enrolment and funding models
  • You have experience consulting, teaching, training, or coaching
  • You have experience in healthcare, public health, and / or supporting physician customers
