About the Position :

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing & Communications, the Senior Marketing Manager will support Equiton Living, a full-service property management company that oversees Equiton’s portfolio of income-producing multi-family properties across Ontario. This role will administer a mix of direct content creation, website management, social media, advertising, and promotional activities, with the objective of maximizing the performance of the properties and building a strong brand.

Key Functions and Responsibilities :

  • Plan, execute, and analyze marketing strategies and campaigns to promote our properties and drive rentals of available units.
  • Support the development of branding, positioning, and community engagement activities for Equiton Living.
  • Assist with crisis communications and reputation management.
  • Manage the website including property listings, ILS activations, and lead generation.
  • Coordinate photography, 3D Tours, virtual staging and other creative assets required to promote properties.
  • Develop and implement social media strategy including campaign and content development to drive engagement and awareness.
  • Develop all content related to new property acquisitions including website profile, press releases, social media, internal and external communications etc.
  • Responsible for developing and executing lease-up marketing plans for all new developments including website development, campaigns, and events to meet leasing objectives.
  • Assist with the development, editing, and proofing of various marketing collateral including signage, brochures, floor plans, property datasheets and flyers.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand standards and industry best practices.
  • Supervise, manage and coach one direct report.

Required Skills and Abilities :

  • Strong organization and planning, and ability to prioritize and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely strong copywriting for content development and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in the Property / Residential Management sector.
  • Experience using RentSync, Yardi and RentCafe platforms.
  • Website design experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and relationship management skills - operates with tact, diplomacy, and integrity.
  • Strong work ethic and team player – trustworthy, capable, and reliable.
  • Education and Experience :

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma and 5-10 years of relevant experience (experience in property management or real estate industry considered a plus).
