Location : Port Coquitlam Distribution Center (Head Office)
Shifts : Monday – Friday 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm

What You’ll Do :
Conduct regular inspections of the building to ensure all equipment is in good working orderPerform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components, and equipment within the buildingRespond quickly and thoroughly to repair requests, troubleshoot equipment shutdowns, and diagnose issues with equipment to minimize downtime and disruptionsCommunicate effectively with internal staff and external vendors to perform maintenance & repairsRespond to emergency situations such as power outages, leaks, and system failuresProvide immediate corrective action to mitigate damage and ensure safetyAssist with spill clean-up within warehouse and ensure safety protocols are followedMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs including a daily log of maintenance tasksDevelop and maintain positive relationships with internal staff and external vendorsAssist in the planning and execution of building projects and renovations within the buildingCoordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicesMaintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials required for maintenance activitiesProvide assistance & support to other team members as needed for larger projectsOrder and replenish supplies as necessary to support continuous operationsAddress and resolve employee complaints and service requestsOther duties as assigned by your managerDo You Fit the Part?
Minimum 3 years experience with building maintenance or related fieldAbility to work flexible shiftsStrong technical skills and familiarity with building maintenance tools and equipmentProficient in using a wide range of tools, from hand tools to power tools and specialized equipmentCapability to work in various environments including confined spaces, rooftops, and laddersAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesMust be able to lift, move, push, pull or carry up to 50lbsA strong team player, self motivated and proactive thinker with a track record of successStrong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse groupCertification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or welding is an assetExperience with framing, drywall, concrete, plumbing and painting is an assetKnowledge of WorkSafeBC, BC building Code, and BC Fire Code is an assetFork-truck and scissor lift certification is an assetAt Lordco Auto Parts, we are committed to fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and prioritizes inclusion in every aspect of our organization.
