Our client, a leading player in the Industrial Distribution and Building Products sector, is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of their keystone branch in the Greater Toronto Area. As the General Manager, you will be overseeing all operations for the branch; managing employees and will have full P&L and Budget responsibilities. You will be responsible for all financial aspects of the Branch and be directly involved with the Sales Teams. You will manage inventory, purchasing and delivery, and be responsible for the overall operations of the branch. The General Manager will also be responsible for setting strategic goals and direction for the location, working closely with senior management to do so.

The ideal candidate : You will have strong experience in Industrial Distribution – Retail & Operations Management, 3 + Years management experience, will present yourself as a true leader and have the energy and drive to lead the business to success. You will be proactive and be able to motivate and coach your team. You will have knowledge and experience in Industrial Distribution for a manufacturer, distributor, or retailer. Managing a location in one of the largest Canadian markets with high growth potential, you will have an elevated level of motivation, you will lead by example and will not be afraid to go above and beyond expectation for your team and customers.

COMPENSATION
120K-130K base salary + profit sharing + car allowance
