DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
Contacting current customers and identifying new products and potential up-selling
Entering orders into the system
Purchasing materials for customers
Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
Providing product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
Offering technical expertise on products to purchasers
Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
Counter Sales and handling returns as required
Picking Priority orders
Closing orders and stocking bins
Keeping counter and sales area clean
Merchandising and showcasing product
Other duties as required

Ability to develop long term relationships and generate referrals from your customers

Time management & multitasking skills to serve several customers at the same time
Excellent computer skills (Word, Email, etc.)

Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Minimum grade 12 education required
Candidates should possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and succeed
Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing or Heating are considered an asset
Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, plumbing contractors, and the public
Minimum 1 year knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry
