Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage critical HR metrics, ensuring success in areas like hiring, retention, development, performance management, and employee engagement.
  • Partner closely with leadership to offer guidance on policies, procedures, and HR best practices.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of employee records, managing data within the HR Information System.
  • Develop and present clear, engaging employee communications and reports.
  • Leverage data to offer insights and recommendations for continuous HR improvement.
  • Support recruitment efforts through interviewing, selection, and onboarding for assigned teams.
  • Assist hiring managers in designing and implementing a smooth onboarding experience for new employees.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Payroll, Benefits, and HR Shared Services, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Address HR-related inquiries from the business and troubleshoot solutions efficiently.
  • Take the lead or actively contribute to key HR projects that align with our overall people strategy.

What We’re Looking For :

  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) paired with 2-5 years of hands-on HR experience.
  • An eye for detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to work independently while keeping the team’s best interests in mind.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for the role.
  • Knowledge of New Brunswick and Canadian employment standards.
  • An HR certification would be considered an asset.
