Our well established client in Port Coquitlam is seeking a permanent Payroll Administrator to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity in a company with a great culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Process and administer full cycle multi-provincial, semi-monthly Canadian and US payroll.
- Perform manual data entry and maintenance of the payroll system, including new hires, employee updates, terminations, garnishments and medical leaves etc.
- Onboarding administration including preparing and sending job offers, welcome communication, and initial paperwork
- Job posting administration, phone interviews, and coordinating interviews with hiring manager
- Process changes to benefits coverage, including new enrollments, coverage changes and terminations
- Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries from employees, managers, and various external parties
- Process commission payments to salespeople
Qualifications :
Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)Minimum 2 years multi-province payroll experience with over 200 employees and some accounting experienceFamiliar with Ceridian Dayforce is an assetProficient in MS Office
