This is a high-impact, high-visibility role responsible for defining and executing innovative marketing strategies that will propel Moosehead's growth, in both Canada and around the world, in a highly competitive and dynamic industry.As the architect of our consumer strategy, you will spearhead initiatives that drive consumer engagement, expand our market presence, and position Moosehead as a leader in the evolving beer and beverage landscape. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in the company's long-term success. Creating fans is what we try to do each and every day.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership & Vision : Develop foundational marketing strategies that align with Moosehead Breweries' long-term vision and business goalsChampion brand-building initiatives, digital transformation, and consumer engagement strategies that enhance Moosehead's market leadershipDrive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and experiential channels to optimize reach and impactGrowth & Innovation : Lead business growth initiatives, including new product development, market expansion, and category innovation in beverage alcohol and beyondCollaborate with the CEO and Vice-President, Sales & Partnerships to unlock new business opportunities and strengthen trade relationshipsDrive strategic acquisitions and partnerships that fuel long-term revenue growth and fan loveBrand Stewardship & Consumer Engagement :  Ensure brand consistency and equity, reinforcing Moosehead's reputation as a premium, authentic, and innovative brewerChampion consumer-first marketing, leveraging consumer insights, analytics, and storytelling to deepen emotional connections with our consumersLead the digital and social strategy, growing our digital footprint and engagement across all platformsMarket Intelligence & Competitive Advantage :  Stay ahead of industry trends, shifting consumer preferences, and emerging market opportunities to position Moosehead for successUtilize data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, research, and insights to shape strategic marketing directionAnticipate challenges and proactively adjust marketing strategies to maintain market leadershipCross-Functional Collaboration & Lead :  Partner with the Sales Leadership Team to ensure marketing efforts are fully aligned with overall business objectivesLead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellenceBe a champion of Moosehead's culture and values, ensuring that our brand resonates authentically with both internal and external fansKey Attributes : Visionary & Strategic Thinker :  a strategic leader with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful marketing initiativesEntrepreneurial Mindset : thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing creativity with data-driven decision-makingMasterful Communication & Influence : adept at engaging stakeholders, navigating complex conversations, and aligning diverse teamsBrand & Consumer Focused : passionate about storytelling, brand-building, and the consumerAgile & Resourceful Leader : skilled at leading through ambiguity, adapting to changing market conditions, and thriving in a budget conscious environment. You excel in uncertainty, pivot when needed, and find creative solutions to maxmize available resources and drive resultsBeer Industry Enthusiast : a genuine passion for beer and the beverage space, eager to champion Moosehead's legacy and innovationQualificationsQualifications : Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 10 years in a Senior Leadership roleExperience in the beer, beverage alcohol, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is highly preferredProven track record in leading and executing successful brand and growth strategies in a competitive marketYou have a deep understanding of the marketing process, which includes strategic planning, brand positioning, market analysis, consumer insights, data-driven decision-making, and campaign executionYou are persuasive and collaborative and have a history of working well with cross functional leadersImprovement excites you : you love to see improvements within process, people and most importantly, yourself.
