Position : Financial Analyst Location : Ottawa (downtown) hybrid work environmentA four-month contract commencing mid November with a Crown Corporation.

Must haves : Security clearance, French language proficiency (Government B level)We are actively hiring for an experienced Financial Analyst to provide crucial support in financial system budgetary control, workplan exercise presentations, cost, revenue, and salary forecast reports, special reports and related duties.
This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning and Treasury.A detailed summary of the requirement can be provided upon receipt of resume.
Qualifications : - Post-secondary education in accounting and finance, a CPA designation is a definite asset.- Five years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and budgeting, Crown Corporation or Federal Government experience is an asset.
- Five years of experience in variance analysis of financial statements, analysis of business proposals, preparation of financial reports to management.
- Experience providing project support and other related duties.- Extensive experience working with financial systems including development and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build strong client relationships to support decision making. - An advanced knowledge working with a variety of spreadsheets.
