JOB DESCRIPTION

The Glen Stor Dun Lodge, our Municipal long-term care home, is currently recruiting for full time Registered Practical Nurses (RPN). The Glen Stor Dun Lodge is a non-profit organization governed by the Long Term Care Act of the Province of Ontario and falls under the jurisdiction of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. We are seeking qualified Registered Practical Nurses to provide exemplary nursing care to the residents of Glen Stor Dun Lodge.

Overview :

Reporting to the Supervisor, Nursing, the Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing exceptional care that will attribute to the best health outcome for our residents, maintaining accurate records of nursing observations and procedures performed, ensuring care plans reflect current resident needs and aspirations. Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and will promote effective communication with residents, families, visitors, volunteers, students and fellow staff.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Must have a current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1 year experience in the Long-Term Care Home sector is preferred.
