Senior Manager, Change Management & Organizational Development
Job Summary
As the Senior Manager of Change Management and Organizational Development, this role focuses on the design, development and implementation of enterprise-wide and global programs that improve Equinix’s ability to implement its strategy and compete in the market.
The successful candidate will have the ability to think systemically to diagnose business problems and propose solutions that impact people, processes, systems, and organizational structures.
This position partners with a designated business group and consults and advises them on all change related topics.
Responsibilities
Design, deliver and coach on enterprise transformation and change management initiatives based on business requirements
Lead, manage and develop a team of consultants in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, delivering high-quality results across various projects and initiatives.
Coach consultants with diverse skills and backgrounds. Be a role model and ensure actions reflect the best of Equinix values
Thought partner working with the global HR and function business leaders to diagnose issues and develop solutions to improve effectiveness
Plan and coordinate the deployment of consultants to different projects based on their readiness, availability, skills, and preferences
Assess the individual readiness of consultants and provide them with the necessary training, coaching, feedback, and support to ensure their success and satisfaction
Prepare and equip the consultants with the relevant tools, resources, and information to enable them to perform their roles effectively and efficiently
Monitor and evaluate the performance of consultants and provide them with regular and constructive feedback and recognition
Manage the performance management process for the consultants, including setting goals, conducting appraisals, identifying development needs, and addressing performance issues
Build and manage organizational change frameworks and tools related to organization and team effectiveness
Facilitate strategy, planning and team effectiveness sessions as needed
Design new enterprise initiatives and frameworks based on business requirements
Defines and monitors success measures
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in HR, Business Management, Change Management, or a related field
10+ years of experience in Change Management, HR, consulting, Project Management, or a similar role, with minimum 3 years as a people manager, managing all facets of the employee journey / life cycle.
Proven track record of leading and managing teams of consultants or professionals in a complex and dynamic environment
Strong knowledge and skills in HR or related fields, such as talent management, organizational development, change management, learning and development, etc.
Excellent program management, planning, and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Strong subject matter expertise, technical skills, and analytical thinking, with the ability to provide guidance and recommendations on best practices and solutions
Strong change management, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and support the team and the organization through change and transformation
Strong project management, delivery, and execution skills, with the ability to lead projects and project teams personally and ensure high-quality outcomes
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact with and influence leaders at all levels of the organization on change projects
Strong assertion and confidence, with the ability to present a professional technical point of view through expertise
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced and fluid environment
Ability to handle ambiguity and uncertainty and adapt to changing needs and expectations
High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethics
Certification in Change Management, HR, consulting, project management, or related fields is a plus
