JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key Leadership role and champion of our Beyond Beer portfolio at Labatt
- Strategy lead for Beyond Beer business unit (RTD & Non-Alc) including but not limited to : Strategic Portfolio Management : Portfolio and SKU optimization by sales channel / geography;
providing recommendations on assortment and SKU counts by brandIn partnership with brand team, development of brand architecture & flavour renovation strategy for Beyond Beer portfolioDevelopment of long term business plan for Beyond Beer (3-10 year plan) including industry, category and segment forecastingBe the voice of the competitor at Labatt effectively developing and monitoring listening tools and analysis on competitive strategy
- Manage relationships & routine with existing partner brands and drive development of new partner relationships and brands : Internal and external communication, strategy development & contract negotiationsResponsible for supporting the monthly and quarterly performance reviews for partnersOwner of annual business planning cycle for partner brands including new product development and financialsHunt for new incremental business opportunities through partner brands or co-promotion opportunities prospect identification & business case development
- Manage and coach one direct report, Manager of Strategy and Partnerships
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Mandatory University Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales or Marketing experience, preferably complemented with 2 years Back-Office experience
- Effective storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate and sell your vision to stakeholders in all levels of the organization
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external groups
- Comfort with ambiguity, leveraging structured thinking to break down complex and undefined problems into actionable work streams
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize multiple data sources into actionable insights
- Strong project management and organization skills to manage the multiple priorities of yourself and your team
- Knowledge of Canadian liquor regulations & passion for the industry
